Following a demand survey undertaken by Governors earlier this term, the board has made the decision to try to recruit staff in order for Brailes School to start offering on-site After School Care provision for children in Reception to Year 6, 3.15pm – 6pm each school day from 4th June 2019.
The ability for the school to start offering After School Care provision onsite at Brailes School is dependent on the school being able to recruit staff; two members of staff are needed for each session. If school are unable to recruit staff, unfortunately we will not be able to offer After School Care provision at Brailes School.
School is now advertising to recruit for the following positions:
After School Club Assistant
to work for 5 days per week, 3.15pm-6pm term time only from 4th June 2019 £8.50 per hour
After School Club Co-ordinator
to work for 5 days per week, 3.00pm-6.15pm term time only from 4th June 2019 £9.01 per hour
The school also have a vacancy for a temporary TA2 position for the summer term 2019 only from 29th April. This is to work 5 mornings a week, 15 hours a week (8.45am-11.45am) to provide 1-1 support £9.68 per hour.
Application forms and job descriptions for all the positions listed above are available from Mrs Bennett in the school office. The closing date for these vacancies is 29th March 2019. Interviews will take place in early April. Job shares will be considered for each of the positions.
Brailes C of E Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
References will be taken up prior to interview for all positions and the successful candidates will require an enhanced DBS disclosure.
Please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Hilton or Mrs. Childs if you have any questions about After School Care provision or the vacancies listed above. All school families will be given an update regarding After School Care provision before the end of this term.
